The T-72 Adra was an Syrian T-72 modified with add on slat armour along with blocks of concrete, to help improve its survivability. This was done during the Syrian Civil War in which T-72s fought in the streets of cities where anti tank weapons like the RPG-7 was common. The best method of combating such weapons is to add armour with gaps between them which the slat and concrete armour helped achive. It is uncertain how many of these were ever made.
