HSTV-LMSC (120 OTO)

Hands down favourite setup in the entire game since it’s been possible to make it. I originally used the Contender 1E turret for a long time but from day 1 of the MSC turret being added I have never gone back. Turns Tier 10 into PvE if you know what your doing. If you repeatedly flip this you just suck at driving. Works with any good tier 10 gun.

You do not need to buy any tier 1 parts from the shop to progress in the game, save up for tier 2 this is the best tank you can make with the free parts. the hull is well armoured and fast. the turret has good gun handling and a secondary cannon. the gun is effective

gun first, then turret and then hull the other hulls are worse you may honestly be better off continuing to use the Crusader hull to grind money the turret is surprisingly survivable, has a good reload multiplier and great gun handling the gun is a direct upgrade to the 75mm Type 3 use the APHE shell

buy the gun, then turret and then hull I’m genuinely sorry there’s no better options for hull the hull is terrible but all the other options also suck or are incorrectly priced in the case of the Ru 251 at least this allows you to complete wheeled daily missions. the turret has some armour, a good rangefinder, roof 12.7mm HMG and a good reload multiplier. the gun has good penetration and great velocity with a longer reload not as long as the 8.8cm Ikonisch .

Bagelpanzer (hull) / M551 Sheridan (turret) / 75mm Ikonisch II (gun)

Buy the gun first, then turret and then hull the hull has a high top speed forwards and in reverse, great acceleration and is surprisingly survivable due to the frontal engine area and internal armour as well as good ammo rack placement the turret has a great reload multiplier, stabiliser and up 12x zoom the gun has good penetration and decent damage at the cost of a slightly longer reload than the 75mm SA50

TOW Humvee (hull) / Type 74 (turret) / 84mm 20pdr Type B (gun)

get gun first, then turret and then hull the hull keep using the bagelpanzer hull, the TOW Humvee is just to allow you to do more daily missions and eventually unlock the LOSAT Humvee if you are interested in it its not very good the turret has a lower reload multiplier than the previous Sheridan turret but you get a roof 12.7mm and the armour sometimes works the gun has good penetration and very high velocity, but requires good aim for the APDS shell the shell I recommend using edit: I KNOW YOU CANT PUT A TURRET ON THE TOW HUMVEE BUT YOU HAVE TO BUY SOMETHING

K15A Mirage (hull) / any (turret) / 100mm Molotok (gun)

buy the gun, then hull and then turret the hull is very fast, has some armour protection and suspension hull aim all the starter Tier 8 turrets are awful for new players but you have to buy something to progress so just pick whatever if you really want a turret that works you can get the Cockerill 3105 turret from the blueprint shop as it is cheap to craft the gun is more powerful than the 84mm although with only slightly more APDS pen, you also get a HEAT shell for combating with tanks with stronger armour

XT1A Skyfall (Hull) / BMD-4 (Turret) / 105mm OTO (Gun)

get the gun, then turret and then hull the hull is a unique missile launcher platform that cannot change any parts and it gives you a taste of a different playstyle on some of the larger maps but most of the time you should continue with the mirage hull. the turret is a very popular light tank turret as it gets a high reload multiplier and a co-ax 30mm autocannon as well as being fairly short. the gun is a direct upgrade to the 100mm Molotok

C1 Ariete (hull) / Contender 1E (turret) / 105mm M68 (gun)

get the gun, then turret and then hull the hull, while 15km/h slower than the Contender E1 has better armour protection that can block some shells the turret has 2-25x zoom which is amazing for sniping as well as two spaced out blowout ammo racks, decent armour and a high reload multiplier of 1.5 with the only downsides being its poor gun depression and easily identifiably weak spot the gun has only slightly more overall APFSDS penetration than the 105mm OTO but a noticeably shorter reload

Contender 2M (hull) / Challenger 2 (turret) / 105mm High Pressure CV (gun)

get the gun, then hull and then turret the hull is special as it is one of the few MBT hulls with blowout ammo meaning that if you use a turret with blowout ammo you cannot be killed by ammunition detonation unless you don’t put the fire out , it also has decent armour protection against Kinetic ammunition AP/APHE/APDS/APFSDS and a few ATGMS and very good frontal and side protection against Chemical ammunition HE/HESH/HEAT/ATGMs the turret has very thick armour in some places but its main selling point is it has the “ready rack” trait on one of its ammo racks meaning that any shells being loaded from that rack will have an increased reload speed and your tank will passively move ammo from other ammo racks into that rack. the gun is a further improvement to the 105mm M68 with more pen, a faster reload and better shell velocity with the only downside being less damage and pen compared to the more common 120/125mm cannons which you have to craft from blueprints.

T-90M (hull) / T-90M (turret) / 120mm TKG (gun)

get the gun, then hull and then turret the hull has an almost impenetrable UFP bar the drivers hatch and is surprisingly mobile for a T-tank. the turret also has exceptional frontal armour protection which is aided by the 120mm TKG having an armoured section Infront of the breech, it has a good reload multiplier of 1.49, a Laser Warning System which alerts you if someone is looking at you with FCS on or is range finding you with a Laser Range Finder allowing you to return fire or fall back into cover and arguably the best for last, the turret comes with fairly reliably hard-kill APS which most of the time will intercept and stop almost all missiles and slow shells, mainly HEAT, preventing them from directly hitting you and in some rare cases they may even trigger on Kinetic shells which can reduce their penetration. the gun as previously mentioned gives a genuinely helpful boost to the armour around the barrel as well has having the best angled APFSDS penetration while having a negligibly faster reload speed compared to the other tier 12 120/125mm cannons excluding the 125mm 2A46M-1 with has a marginally faster base reload and the APFSDS has the "A-ERA” Anti-Explosive Reactive Armour trait which gives allows it to penetrate ERA much easier than a normal APFSDS shell. after this you now have a good tank that can make you tons of money in top tier so you can go back and unlock all the lower tier parts you want to mess around with. see my “Certified Evil” section on great tank builds I recommend if your not sure what is good or just peruse top rated parts and setups on the wider website! good luck and happy tanmking :

Artillery Radar-Drone Capable Tank Platform (ARD-CTP)

The tank has the ability to have a radar and a drone, using the k15 Mirage Hull, and the OTO Turret, this gives it an insane reload multiplier and the ability to also detect enemy drones within airspace. The gun is the 190MM Bruh, has great velocity for artillery, and proximity fuses that arms within a respectable distance. Weaknesses: INSANELY Penetrable, INSANELY Weak in non-artillery positions
