T-Rex: Ukraine’s Experimental Future Tank
The T-Rex was an ambitious Ukrainian experimental MBT concept built around a modern layout, with an armored crew capsule, unmanned turret, and a 125 mm gun. It was designed to reuse T-64 and T-72 hulls while bringing the tank up to a more advanced standard.
It could have been a very dangerous vehicle on paper, but it also depended heavily on a concept that never reached full service, so its real-world performance was never proven. Despite that, it had the potential to be one of the most advanced Ukrainian tanks if it had been developed and fielded successfully.
