Vickers 7/1

The Vickers Mk.7 MBT was a prototype developed in the 1980's by Vickers-Armstrong. The turret was carried out from the Vickers Mk.4 Valiant Universal Turret, which could mount any NATO cannon at the time.

The turret was mounted on a modified Leopard 2 hull, which made it at the time one of the most advanced MBTs in the world. In game, the variant was the one sent to trials in Egypt, being the Mk.7/1. During trials against other NATO MBTs, the tank outperformed pretty much every tank available in NATO's arsenal, and even outperforming the Challenger 2 during trials, managing to finish 15 minutes faster than the Challenger 2. However, due to german laws, the Leopard 2 hull was not allowed for export to Egypt - which was not a NATO member - and the fate of the vehicle is unknown to this day.
